I never cease to be amazed at the search engine terms that direct visitors to this humble blog. A quick glance at the blog stats yesterday yielded this gem:

“were is the spleen located in a whitetail”

WTF?

I’m not sure which tickles me more, the poor usage of English, that there are people out there wondering where a deer’s spleen is located, or that they ended up finding this:

The visual of a couple of Bubbas in the midst of pounding back a sixer of Bud while gutting a whitetail, then pausing to Google the tubes on their laptop to ensure they don’t rupture its’ spleen makes me giggle like a little schoolgirl.
