Long pause since my last post. I seem to be posting in spurts lately, which now that I read back sounds kind of nasty.

Be that as it may, roadtripping back to our state capital this weekend for yet another athletic competition for the Energizer Buddy. First Denver, then Oklahoma City, now Austin again is making for quite a summer tour for the youngster.

What with the state legislature poking their noses into our duly elected local school district business and mandating a later start date this year, our summer has been extended. This means that we might get the opportunity to go on an actual vacation unrelated to a sporting event. Break out the Amex.
