agswin2.jpgBeating tu two years in a row in a wild 38-30 game at Kyle Field was not enough to save coach Dennis Franchione’s job as head tackle football coach. After the most awkward post-game interview in the history of live television with ABC/ESPN’s Jack Arute, Fran donned a tie and jacket and was led to the guillotine where he announced his resignation and immediately got up and left the room. No hard feelings Fran. Just don’t let the door hit you on your way out.

Not sure who will coach whatever backwoods bowl game we qualify for, but it most likely won’t be double-naught-secret-newsletterboy.

In related news the No. 15 Aggie roundballers spanked Ohio State to win the NIT preseason tournament. Coach Turgeon just keeps on giving. Wonder if he has a brother who coaches football?

    I think we can all agree that it’s time to bring in someone new to try and rebuild this football team but why the attitude? “Don’t let the door hit you…” Up yours! I’d like to see you do a better job than Fran did! I’ll bet your a tough SOB huh? OOOOOOhhhh!!

    For his paycheck I’d give it a shot. Couldn’t do much worse and if I did, I wouldn’t let the door hit me on the way out, laughing all the way to the bank. And deep down inside somewhere I’d be laughing at you, a pathetic internets troll.
