Gratitude Challenge

Anyone who does not live under a rock knows that next Thursday, a week from today, is Thanksgiving. (At least those readers in the US know) But gratitude and giving thanks is not a one day a year sort of thing. Every single day people do things for us, serve us, protect us, and on and on. Much of this goes unmentioned. Unheralded.

So here is my challenge, since I started journaling I have become acquainted with journal prompts. Sentences or Ideas that make you think. My challenge is this: Read the gratitude prompt below and take action on it.

“Write a gratitude/thank you letter or note to someone who you haven’t thanked properly, but should have.”

That’s all. Tell someone thank you. In writing. Give the prompt some thought. Who haven’t you thanked, but should have

You don’t have to deliver it. Just write it down. You don’t have to share it with anyone. Just write it down.

I am grateful for everyone who reads this, whether you accept the challenge or not. Just having you stop. Read. And think about gratitude serves the purpose.
