You may wonder about the picture that accompanies my blog. Del’s Charcoal Burgers. Well the reasons are two fold:

First, I wanted to put several pictures in the header and have them stretch all the way across the top. But I couldn’t figure out how to do it, and worse (I thought at the time) I couldn’t get the Del’s picture to go away. It just sat there despite my multiple attempts to delete it and various and sundry curse words thrown at it. But I’ve gotten used to it, so welcome to the blog Del’s.

Second, and I want to make clear that I am in no way affiliated or a paid spokesmodel for Del’s, they make literally the best chili cheeseburgers on the planet. And they make their own root beer and serve it in frozen mugs. As it that wasn’t enough they serve those crinkle fries cooked just right and if you don’t feel like a burger, the chili dog is good too.

So if you are ever in Richardson, Texas. Del’s is downtown and has been since I first went there in 1979 or so. And it didn’t look new then.
