Blogman Big E, aka ExtraP, aka The Extrapolater is having a birthday! When I started this enterprise a little over a year ago, his was one of the first great blogs I stumbled upon. I shamelessly stole his Porn Name All-Star idea for a post of my own. Since then ExtraP, who unlike your humble correspondent, is a real writer of highly readable and entertaining prose has continued to set the bar high. I only ask one thing of you, however – make sure they take care of my Kansas boy Turgeon down there at A&M. I always wanted him to coach Kansas instead, but you guys get the prize.

Turgeon is still the darling of College Station. The hottest ticket on campus is the b-ball kickoff rally. They have hired none other than rapper Soulja Boy to come in and help the Ags “Crank Dat” basketball. Of course I don’t think the older Ags have figured out what his lyrics mean, so it could turn.
